The Queen of Sheba
By MindAtlas Staff Writer |
The Queen of Sheba is mentioned only briefly in the Hebrew Bible. Nonetheless, she has become a household name. Her story appears in the Book of Kings.
Of the Queen of Sheba it is said that she embodied beauty, graciousness and wealth. Her presence was neither mistaken nor ignored, and she made an impact on all who came into contact with her.
The Queen of Sheba reigned in Ethiopia, at the time when King Solomon, son of David, ruled over Israel. The Queen was intrigued by Solomon's ways, and decided to travel to meet him personally: 'Arriving in Jerusalem with an enormous caravan, camels laden with spices and immense quantities of gold and precious jewels, she came to Solomon and talked to him about all that she had in mind' (Kings 10:2).
For the Queen to travel cross-country for someone else meant that the meeting was one of vital importance. The Queen had heard word of Solomon's excellence in kingship, but was overwhelmed by what she encountered: 'Until I came and saw with my own eyes, I did not believe them... Your wisdom and wealth surpass everything I was told... Praise God, Your God, who has delighted in you and set you on the throne of Israel!' (Kings 10:6-9).
It was known that Solomon loved women. He had a harem of seven hundred wives, as well as three hundred concubines. The Queen of Sheba's motivations for meeting the King went beyond the acquisition of knowledge and business dealings. Her visit to the King, although being diplomatic in intention, progressed to a sexual encounter.
When she learned of the king's just ways, affluence and wisdom, the queen honored him for it: 'She presented the king with a hundred and twenty talents of gold and great quantities of spices and precious stones. Never again did such a wealth of spices arrive as that which the Queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon' (Kings 10:10).
The Queen's exact agenda for her visit to the king is uncertain. However, it is clear that the establishment of trade routes between the two countries was an outcome of their meeting. The Incense Road, which was established in 1000 B.C.E, began in Southern Arabia and ended in Israel. Its continuation across to Egypt, Syria and Ethiopia relied upon King Solomon's concession. Her gifts of spices were indicative of her intentions to ratify the trade route with the King.
Arriving bearing gifts, the Queen left with 'all that she desired and asked for' (Kings 10:13). As a result of her encounter, the Queen of Sheba gave birth to King Solomon's son, whom she called Menelik I. Her relations with King Solomon paved the way for future dealings between Israel and Ethiopia, binding the nations together with a common child.
As the legend tells, when the Queen left King Solomon he gave her a ring engraved with the lion of Judah, signifying Israel. It was said to have sacred powers. The ring was intended for their child, to be passed down through the generations. The ring was eventually given to Emperor Haile Selassie, known as Ras Tafari, in 1930. His people considered him as the last in a long line of the Divine incarnate, beginning with Abraham.
The Queen of Sheba was the only one of King Solomon's women that he did not own. She was all-powerful, proud and self-assured. The mere mention of her name conjures up images of strength and a depth of pride. Her story is a contribution to feminist images of female strength.
The Queen's connection to King Solomon bred a link between Jews and Ras Tafarians, who embrace the Star of David with their own symbol. According to some, the legendary Ras Tafarian Bob Marley, was given King Solomon's ring by Selassie's son at the death of the Emperor. It is said that Marley was buried wearing the ring.
The Queen of Sheba was a woman hailed for her strength. She makes a brief appearance in the Hebrew Bible, for which she has been immortalized. Her significance to Judaism is not often mentioned; however, she was mother to King David's grandchild.

Note that the last person wearing the ring was one of InI, Bob Marley. Solomon was not a Jew, the word Jew was not a word then. Now let us study to compare these stories, note that the story from the Sumerian texts of Enki and Inanna is the original story of Solomon and Queen Sheba. We will reveal here the connection of the Islamic, Nibiruan and Rastafari through the Solomonic Lineage also see Fire in Dub. Remember this is a divine decree, wisdom here revealed for the first time ever...

Sura 27 17-46 |
"27.17": And his hosts of the jinn and the men and the birds were gathered to him, and they were formed into groups.
"27.18": Until when they came to the valley of the Naml, a Namlite said: O Naml! enter your houses, (that) Sulaiman and his hosts may not crush you while they do not know.
"27.19": So he smiled, wondering at her word, and said: My Lord! grant me that I should be grateful for Thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I should do good such as Thou art pleased with, and make me enter, by Thy mercy, into Thy servants, the good ones. "27.20": And he reviewed the birds, then said: How is it I see not the hoopoe or is it that he is of the absentees?
"27.21": 1 will most certainly punish him with a severe punishment, or kill him, or he shall bring to me a clear plea.
"27.22": And he tarried not long, then said: I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba.
"27.23": Surely I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given abundance and she has a mighty throne:
"27.24": 1 found her and her people adoring the sun instead of Allah, and the Shaitan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them and thus turned them from the way, so they do not go aright
"27.25": That they do not make obeisance to Allah, Who brings forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth and knows what you hide and what you make manifest:
"27.26": Allah, there is no god but He: He is the Lord of mighty power.
"27.27": He said: We will see whether you have told the truth or whether you are of the liars:
"27.28": Take this my letter and hand it over to them, then turn away from them and see what (answer) they return.
"27.29": She said: O chief! surely an honorable letter has been delivered to me "27.30": Surely it is from Sulaiman, and surely it is in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful;
"27.31": Saying: exalt not yourselves against me and come to me in submission.
"27.32": She said: O chiefs! give me advice respecting my affair: I never decide an affair until you are in my presence.
"27.33": They said: We are possessors of strength and possessors of mighty prowess, and the command is yours, therefore see what you will command.
"27.34": She said: Surely the kings, when they enter a town, ruin it and make the noblest of its people to be low, and thus they (always) do;
"27.35": And surely I am going to send a present to them, and shall wait to see what (answer) do the messengers bring back.
"27.36": So when he came to Sulaiman, he said: What! will you help me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Nay, you are exultant because of your present;
"27.37": Go back to them, so we will most certainly come to them with hosts which they shall have no power to oppose, and we will most certainly expel them therefrom in abasement, and they shall be in a state of ignominy.
"27.38": He said: O chiefs! which of you can bring to me her throne before they come to me in submission?
"27.39": One audacious among the jinn said: I will bring it to you before you rise up from your place; and most surely I am strong (and) trusty for it.
"27.40": One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. Then when he saw it settled beside him, he said: This is of the grace of my Lord that He may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored.
"27.41": He said: Alter her throne for her, we will see whether she follows the right way or is of those who do not go aright.
"27.42": So when she came, it was said: Is your throne like this? She said: It is as it were the same, and we were given the knowledge before it, and we were submissive.
"27.43": And what she worshiped besides Allah prevented her, surely she was of an unbelieving people.
"27.44": It was said to her: Enter the palace; but when she saw it she deemed it to be a great expanse of water, and bared her legs. He said: Surely it is a palace made smooth with glass. She said: My Lord! surely I have been unjust to myself, and I submit with Sulaiman to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
"27.45": And certainly We sent to Samood their brother Salih, saying: Serve Allah; and lo! they became two sects quarrelling with each other.
"27.46": He said: O my people! why do you seek to hasten on the evil before the good? Why do you not ask forgiveness of Allah so that you may be dealt with mercifully?

Excerpt Lost Book of Enki
|
Twelfth Tablet

...All the while Inanna in Unug-ki her lordship in the Third Region awaited,
All the while the domain of her own of the leaders she demanded.
The Third Region after the second one will come! her leaders thus assured her.
Having seen how Ninurta to Eridu journey, how the ME of the kingship he obtained,
Inanna in her heart a plan devised, to obtain ME from Enki she schemed.
Her chambermaid Ninshubur to Eridu she dispatched, a visit by Inanna to announce.
On this hearing Enki to Isimud, his housemaster, quickly instructions gave:
The maiden, all alone, to my city Eridu her step is directing,
When all alone she will arrive, my inner chambers let her enter.
Pour for her cold water to freshen her heart, barley cakes with butter give her,Sweet wine prepare, the beer vessels to the rim fill up!
When Inanna alone the abode of Enki entered, Isimud Enki's commands followed;
Then when Enki Inanna greeted, by Inanna's beauty he was overwhelmed:
With jewelry was Inanna bedecked, by her thin dress her body she revealed;When she bent down, her vulva by Enki was thoroughly admired.
From the wine cups sweet wine they drank, for beer drinking a competition they had.
Show me the ME's, Inanna to Enki playfully said; let me ME in my hand hold!
Seven times in the course of the competition Enki to Inanna ME's to hold gave,
The divine formulas for lordship and kingship, for priesthood and scribeship,
For lovedressing and for warring ME's to Inanna to hold gave;
For music and singing, woodworking and metals and precious stones,
Ninety-four ME's that for civilized kingdoms are needed Enki to Inanna gave.
Holding her prizes tightly, Inanna from the slumbering Enki slipped away;
To her Boat of Heaven she rushed out, to soar away her pilot she instructed.
When Enki from his slumber by Isimud was awakened, Get hold of Inanna! to Isimud he said.
When from Isimud that Inanna had already in her Boat of Heaven departed Enki heard, To chase Inanna in Enki's skyship Isimud he instructed. All the ME's you must retrieve! to him said.
At the approach to Unug-ki Isimud Inanna's Boat of Heaven intercepted,To return to Eridu and the wrath of Enki face he made her.
But when Inanna back to Eridu was brought, the ME's with her no more were:
To her chambermaid, Ninshubur, she gave them, to the House of Anu in Unug-ki Ninshubur took them.
In the name of my power, in the name of my father Anu, I command you the ME's to return!
So did Enki angrily to Inanna say, in his abode captive he held her.
By right the ME's have I obtained, Enki himself in my hand placed them!
So did Inanna to Enlil say; the truth of that Enki meekly admitted.
When the time term of Kishi shall be completed to Unug-ki kingship shall pass! So did Enlil declare... |

Imperial and Traditional Ranks and Titles
Recognized by the Crown |
Born as Tafari Makonnen in 1892, he married Woyzero Menen, the daughter of Emperor Menelik II and granddaughter of Negus Mikael of Wollo, in 1911. By becoming Ras, Tafari became the focus of the Christian majority's approval, over Menelik's grandson, Lij Iyasu, who succeeded, de facto, to the Throne in 1911. Emperor Menelik had suffered a series of strokes and his wife, Empress Taitu, effectively retained considerable power through Ras Tessemma, whom Menelik had named as Regent in 1909, until the
faction surrounding Lij Iyasu effectively took power, pushing Empress Taitu into house arrest. Iyasu (sometimes referred to as Yasu) was never crowned, and he was alleged to have converted to Islam, although this was never documented. He did, however, have an illustrious lineage, not only through the Solomonic bloodline, but also made a significant claim to the bloodline of the Prophet Mohammed, in effect making him and the current bloodline of Haile Selassie sharifs - descendants of the Prophet - as well as descendants of King Solomon. Burke's Royal Families of the World, Volume II, stated that Iyasu had in fact converted to Islam16. In any event, the possibility of the conversion, and the belief that it had occurred, was sufficient to cause unremitting opposition from the Church. He had proven, in any event, incapable of ruling the Empire. Menelik's daughter, Zauditu, was made Empress (Negeste-Negestate) on condition that she separated from her husband, whom the Shoan nobility distrusted, and that her cousin, Tafari Makonnen - who was married to Iyasu's niece - became Regent.17
Iyasu's father attempted to rally support for his son, but his forces were defeated militarily and he died in captivity. Lij Iyasu was himself arrested in 1921 and some years later died in custody. But during his period, uncrowned, in office, Lij Iyasu took a stand in Ethiopia's international relations which was contrary to the approach which his grandfather would have taken, and one markedly different from that taken by other Ethiopian leaders of the time: he supported the Axis powers... Germany and Turkey in particular - against the Allies during World War I.
Iyasu was never crowned as Negus or Negusa Negest ze Ethiopia, and his only formal title was Lij, itself an honorific to connote that he was born of noble blood. But his bloodline was clear, and he was always referred to as "Lord" (Abetu) when addressed during his period at the helm of affairs. [The title Abetu had, at the end of the 17th Century and in the early 18th Century, been a title of authority by itself; the first ruler of nominally sovereign Shoa was called Abetu.] The title Abetu (to mean "Lord") would never be used to address a noble of other rank, as the title "lord" would be used in Britain, where a marquis, earl, viscount or baron are rightfully addressed as "lord".
With the disintegration of the Iyasu administration, Ras Tafari Makonnen was named heir and Regent in 1917, but did not ascend the throne as Negus until 1928 and did not become Emperor until the death of Empress Zauditu in November 1930. He then took the name "Haile Selassie" (meaning "Might of the Holy Trinity") as his throne name. And he became the fourth Imperial monarch to hold his court in Addis Ababa - meaning "New Flower" in Amharic... the city founded by Emperor Menelik in 1896. |

We have revealed by divine decree that Haile Selassie is a descendant of the ancient of days; he is a descendant of Anu and Enki from the Sumerian texts, the Lords of the Mothership Nibiru, Planet X or Twelfth Planet [See Wisdom of the Rastafari, Maya and Dogon]. He married Queen Menen, who was a relative, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad [see chart above] in the royal tradition, their union esoterically brought peace to the tribes, a restoration of the old; we see here that Islam and Rastafari is one, [see Fire in Dub]. Selassie could not speak openly at that time of him being the Christ, so he said he worshipped Jesus which was in essence himself we have revealed for the first time ever the sacred and guarded truth of the kings. This has been a message to the many orders of the Rastafari movement. Concerning the bible it is allegory, metaphor and similes and every noun has a deeper level of meaning. The character Jesus, was created by the kings to depict moral truths, Jesus is a myth. Over 50,000 years ago, the Anunnaki came to Earth and at Egypt built the great pyramid and among many things used it as an observatory to record astronomical data. From the movements of the stars came the story of Jesus; case and point, the three stars in Orion's Belt are the three wise men point to the birthplace of the character Jesus - Sirius, the manger [See Wisdom Rastafari, Maya and Dogon]. It is time the Rastafari movement do their homework, see The Thirteen Commandments of Rastafari and know that whites are not and cannot be Rastafari for it is written.
Here is the mystery of the bible, the name Haile Selassie or Ras Tafari is not written there but he is the only real biblical personage, reason being, the Jesus story or Christ story, was a sacred creation of the god kings, the Quran speaks of Jesus also and the same people who dictated the Quran also created the Bible, we have pointed this out here. Let us reveal this code in the Quran to prove our point, if we start at Sura 26, the Poets, adding the number of the chapters, the number of the sections and the number of verses, we get number [21] and if we go to Sura 21, The Prophets, now if we look at 26 The Poets we know that The Poets were the Prophets and in all reality the prophets were the god kings who created these stories [See Excerpt Oahspe]. If we add the numbers chapter 21, seven sections and 112 verses, we get Sura 14, which is Abraham, is not Abraham considered a prophet or the father of Christianity and Islam and in the Hindu religion, Brahm is God, so adding the number in Chapter 14, the seven sections and 52 verses, it takes us to Sura 19, which is Mary, the Mother of Jesus. So, we have revealed who created the story, how and why. For the future in the past lies and the first things shall also be the last things...
Who do we pray to - our father who is in heaven - when will he hear - when will he answer his children who are alone - or ones needing care who have on the path not strayed.
He has made us bow down to Adam and we have admired his handiwork knowing his wisdom it is to you we bow, at your feet we rest our heads...
We await the date of Adam's end truth you have written in the stone, please oh Lord leave us not alone.
Mother Mary reveals her son shining bright shining bright believe in magic believe in love, I believe in music, I believe in love, give thanks give praises his ears they have heard my song rejoice all you people right now.
It's all about culture we will cut him down cut him down antichrist will reveal his face, we will cut him down for Bob him say "we free our people with music" we believe in dreams those gods they are great they still speak to us dance - can you hear music - his ears have heard my song.
I will sing of lost love from days gone by I have crossed the bridge afterwards never asked why.
As was the dance of David, the procession moved chanting were the priests blessed be the king of Israel; Haile Selassie, which in the holy tongue is interpreted Power of the Trinity.
